Another old mag thread!

Anyone remember ACE magazine? One issue of ACE stands out for me... it had War in Middle Earth on the cover and a tape with music from rob hubbard and co!
Also another thing that i will always remember was a section about new hardware! Sony showed off this portable cd-player/game unit with a fliptop vga screen/lid and it was gunmetal grey in colour... it looked remarkabley like the playstation1 lol!
and this was back in 1988/9....

I had a few of these mags many years ago but they got lost, thrown out or swapped with m8's!
anyone have any scans of them?

the second thing i remember from the amiga days was a mag that came out on VHS tape! it was stuck onto a cardboard sheet and the tape had a cardboard sleeve... it wasnt just geared for amiga tho! console's and pc's were on it too... but i cannot remember the name of it???

ive looked thru all my mags and cant find any at all!

Honestly, I wish I did. I have a handful of coverscans (lo-fi) and that's about it. (sigh)

Me and my computer pal used to buy C+VG (me) and ACE (him). Both were published by EMAP. Both were excellent mags, although C+VG ruled simply because of its anarchic humour! Unfortunately, ACE didn't make it and it closed because it was not selling well.
