Rules

Score = Score + Coins

Post a picture of your score here with the score written underneath. Enter as often as you like. Only scores achieved during the round's time frame count.

No cheating of any kind (including score leeching) - this includes save states. No continues/passwords allowed. If you suspect anyone of cheating please let us know in private - anyone found guilty will be banned for the entire season.

Woah; I love this game!!!

My favourite in the "Dizzy" series, probably a lot of this is because it was the first one that I ever played so brings back nostalgic memories, but it's also a cool game.

Could never finish it back in the day; and probably don't have time to play unfortunately.

I remember begging my parents to buy me this game in the early nineties based purely on the box art. They never did, and I never played it until today.

A nice little game, but I'm really not a fan of the one life, instant death, start again from scratch element.

Yes, it's very unforgiving... you get so far, make a silly mistake as you forgot where a trap is for instance, bang... start again.

I guess this is why in later Dizzy games they added energy / lives

Did play it a lot 'BitD' but can't remember if I did finish it. Anyway, a lot of souvenirs with this very nice and cute game.
Now it's done. Think I have explored all possible places (the map from HOL was a good help)

At the beginning? I don't think that should happen.

The scroll next to the grave explains the death in the screenshot: "Legend has it that Hookjaw the pirate, buried here, still guards over his treasure."

So it's a bit darn cheeky to carry it right in front of him!

Yes, it was the very beginning of the game, as I passed the grave heading west for the first time.

It wasn't at the beginning. When I emerged from the caves below the dead pirat struck me with lightning.

Well, I just got an idea what the bible could be for...

Maybe you jumped through the fire on the screen to the right? That's deadly as well (unless you have the fireproof suit).
