Love my cd32.. gets right to the point playing games and running the Planet side demo when I feel nostalgic.

It was also the last I "really wanted but never got" hardware..

I have 2 CD32's.

One was NOS, purchased late last year and has a DCE SX32 MK1 with 8MB & 4GB CF.

The other was purchased a couple of months ago, and I managed to score a Paravision SX-1 with 8MB for it!

Hello,

Have 2 "brand new" NOS (without packaging ) here.

@ Akiko:
What is a CD32 keyboard? Can you send me some pics or post them? CDTV != (is NOT) CD32.

I know an CD32 monitor, it's not black but CD32-color 1084S, but I don't know if that really was thought for CD32 use.

Cd32

I have 2 CD32's one works the other I was told the person tryed to make a Bigfoot for it and hooked the 5 and 12 up backwards. It powers on and dosn't do much else. I have another one on the way but the CD dosn't work on it. I was thinking about making a tower conversion of somesort with it but don't know enought about the to know if its worth it or not.

The working on is nice though I have 2 CD32 controlers for it so thats cool.

Sorry for the maybe crazy question is there anyway the CD drive could be hacked to IDE to conect a HD instead - Maybe ditch the extended ROM

Two, both in working condition. One light AC adapter (europlug) one heavy (UK plug).

I have a working one, just tried it today using a CD32 Magazine disc and it worked fine.

Thought the Composite output was knackered as there was no picture on my CM8833-II initially, turns out my monitor has a dodgy phono plug for the composite.

Man.. all I can say.. I WANT one of those CD32 keyboards!! *drools*. I still really enjoy my CD32, even if I play the games on my A1200T more.. (bigger monitor!) I even bought a black Amiga mouse for it. (CU Amiga's CD's are bootable to Workbench on a CD32, that was the FIRST time I saw a 64-color WB!)
Sure, the games are a bit of a mixed bag, but I really love the CD32, and always have. How I got mine was funny.... years ago, a friend suddenly said he was moving out-of-state... I was gonna buy his A600 system for my dad, in the bottom of the box is a sad-looking CD32, I ask about it... The response was, 'Oh, that thing? you can have it...'
