DamienD's "Non-TOSEC" files...

Hello there my fellow Amigos,

Inspired from these two recent threads; I thought I better pull my finger out and start analysing what I've got, then contribute anything missing to TOSEC for the good of the Amiga community (although I'm pretty sure I did this 7 years ago)...

a) Looking for Rare and possible available games. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=81585
b) My Missing List http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=81646

I've always been a fan of TOSEC and have assisted with gathering / renaming / contributed on many occasions throughout the years (until I went AWOL back in 2009 or something)...

Tonight I have spent 4+ hours going through all disk based files that I have across 3 x HDDs. There were in excess of 100,000+ individual files and I scanned everything through all the absolute latest disk based TOSEC .DATs:

Code:
1) Commodore Amiga - Applications - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2015-10-25_CM).dat

The results are attached; I have 2672 files that TOSEC currently don't have...

Note: I didn't check / scan my "MAGAZINE COVERDISKS" directory tonight (which contains roughly 100 files) but will if people would like me to...

Please note that I'm only human and it's quite impossible for anyone to have actually gone through each and every file testing / verifying / making sure they are what's actually labelled etc...

Disclaimer... these are provided as is; there may be errors on the disks, not working etc...

Anyway, so going forward... For now, if there's anything you want to check out just ask and I'll upload

I should really just dump the whole lot somewhere for all to access; suggestions? Mind you it's 2GB worth of files

Ok, 2nd round of scanning as I found what's probably the last of all my files. Most of these were Coverdisks

Anyway, out of 3500 files after the TOSEC scans I'm left with 135 non-TOSEC ones. Text file attached

Ok, will create a directory called "Non-TOSEC [20-02-2016]" under "~Uploads/DamienD/" on the EAB File Server

Will try to start this process later today. Do you want individual files or say just "one - 5 part archive"?

Phew; upload of 2746 files now completed!!!

Happy leeching my friends... I do hope that you find this useful and manage to locate some rare gems in order to complete your collections.

If so, please drop a note in this thread to say so

Hopefully as time passes all will be checked / renamed / added into future TOSEC .DATs

Unfortunately the zoned Briscola isn't the one that's listed in HOL, the HOL game is from 1988, this one is a different game from 1996

That's a real shame; sorry guys

...as mentioned previously; most of these files I've never even booted / tested. In fact, I can't even remember where I managed to source them from; various different sites on the internet many moons ago; so there's bound to be mislabelled / not working etc. files unfortunately...

My pleasure Amiganiac73; it makes me smile that you are excited like a kid with new toys

...if the process I've gone through helps the Amiga community out then I'm a very happy bunny

I do hope that all people viewing this thread actually find something from my mess of files uploaded.... At the end of the day there's no point keeping to one's self (not that this was ever my intension).
