There was a 1.1 version released but it had lots of problems so it was reverted back to 1.0 I think.

From the tool itself? Some antivirus softwares get really pissy about AutoIT scripts. Its a false positive.

If you don't know how to use ClrMamePro then you could follow my mega old, sort of tutorial here: ADFs - renaming / comparing / finding out if you have anything rare!!!

1. Download RomVault
2. Grab the dats
3. Copy dats to RomVault DatRoot folder and press "Update Dats":
Example of my setup and path:

4. Make a folder where you want the Amiga files to be stored and edit path in RomVault (right click on entry to access menu):

5. Press the "AddToSort" button in the pulldown menu at the top and select a folder for files to scan.
6. Copy all the files you wish to scan and rebuild into that folder.

Then, press "Update Dats", "Scan Roms", "Find Fixes" and "Fix Roms" and let RV do its magic.

It couldn't be easier.

Can get it from the FTP directly

Also, use the included _x64 version. I've noticed that when I compile AutoIT scripts to EXEs in 64 bit mode, antiviruses are less likely to falsely alert on it.

What if new DAT files is created how do I get the games from the DAT files to the location where I have ROMS according to the setup in RomVault ?

Yes, you need to download the games then place them in "ToSort" folder.

When a new dat is out, just copy that into DatRoot and delete the old dat and hit "Update Dats", then scan/rebuild.

Old obsolete files will be moved to "ToSort" and the updated files you downloaded will be moved to appropriate location.

The "Generate Reports" button makes a fixdat, if you open that in a text viewer you can see what files you need to download.

I need to take a look at this. I remember doing something before but following reading one of the earlier posts apparently there is option to download packs for my A600 which means I should be able to get the ones to fit on 4GB SD card?!

Could you maybe add something like a Regex to filter releases?
So you don't have to download all non-english games but e.g. german games only?

Late reply, sorry. You can modify the ini file and change the regexp for what the "English Only" checkbox does.
ENGLISH_SKIP_REGEXP=_(Cz|De|Dk|Es|Fi|Fr|Gr|It|Pl|Se|DeFrIt|DeEsFrIt)(\.|_)

Remove De from it to include german games.

Seems whload.de hasn't been updated anymore since august 8 or something and the tool isn't picking anything new either.

Is there any trouble happening ?

As far as I know, the coders are on vacation. Thus no new slaves so nothing for RetroPlay to put on the TURRAN FTP. Therefor the downloader have nothing new as well either.

Well I took "slaves" the wrong way initially and I was ready to agree that new slaves are needed to perform the work needed for us to satisfy our retro needs. :P
