Yes, the quality of these is exceptional. Very solid rigid card stock with full gloss lamination. The inside is also laminated too. We are possibly going to further pimp them with a purple glitter foam liner on the inside base and then insert all the various bits and bobs. Then they can be sold in batches of probably 10 to VIP collectors that want them.

There may also be an option for those that just want the box upgrade if they already have the physical game but not totally sure yet.

Not cheap but feel like a luxury item.

They look great!

For those that already purchased the game in the plastic cassette, maybe a foam liner that this can just fit in?

Cheers.

Yes there will possibly be some left over later for those that just want the box of course. The glitter foam liner we are adding to them shortly is more for effect than holding anything in reality as it's too thin.

We'll leave it for the end user to pimp the box insides further to their own requirements but they really are very nice as is TBH.

We hope to have both full version and just box version available for sale this Friday/Saturday. Link(s) will be provided here and elsewhere.

They are very limited supply in both forms.

Thanks,

Adrian

For mine I ended up getting some cut foam delivered, I think it was about 50p each which was decent. Stopped the floppy bouncing around in the box and gave it a nice finish.

EDIT - Just did a search in email and this is what it was.

Thanks for that info above - much appreciated

Yes we looked into lifting the base of the inner box up and are currently experimenting with glitter foam liner on top of reconstituted fibre based padding. It looks pretty good so far but still playing with the boxes for a few days to see what can be done within the budget we have for these.

Cheers,

Adrian

I bought one of the disk versions for £15. £20 for a box (albeit a nice one) is a bit steep for me though so will have to give that a miss.

Thank you all

They're 'almost' sold now out overnight which is great. We've kept some back which if all goes well, we'll release in one more very small run in early 2021 most likely. Those will just be the boxes with glitter foam liners though not the full VIP version which was limited to 15 copies only ever.

I know they are not cheap but the reality is that they are very expensive to produce and deliver in terms of both time and £. We literally don't make much at all on them after all the fees are factored in and the work required to get them ready for sale, especially in the VIP form was a bit of a mini-nightmare TBH

This was more of a dry run to see if we'd want to repeat glossy box releases in future with newer games. The truth is already that if we did this again for CyberPunks 2 (not sure yet) they would be even more expensive to the end customer by a least +UK£5 each.

Also it was difficult year to launch a new game in for everyone of course given covid has taken it's toll on the finances of many. I am actually surprised by the response we had to Wiz in all formats ...we really did OK with Wiz so far.

Thanks for your support!

Adrian

Thank you You will love the box, as the quality is quite exceptional when you actually hold it in your hands.
