CD32 Keyboards

Do any of you know if the CDTV keyboard works straight out or if it needs any internal butchering?
If not does anyone know where I can get a CD32 keyboard?

Cheers.

You don't say what type of connector the CD32's got, however the connections for the CDTV are:

6 PIN MINI-DIN FEMALE (PS/2 STYLE) (A4000/CDTV) at the computer.

Pin Name Dir Description
1 /DATA Data
2 n/c - Not connected
3 GND Ground
4 +5V +5 Volts DC (100 mA max)
5 CLOCK Clock
6 n/c - Not connected

So if the CD32 is PS2 style it's a good bet...

The CD32 AUX port is also a 6-PIN MINI-DIN FEMALE. For proper instructions, look here to find out what you need to do. Its under the Pinouts section, and thus includes the pinouts for CD32 AUX, although I think its different to Sykos pinouts concerning the CDTV keyboard.

Yep the CD32 and CDTV keyboards should be commpatible, as the diagram given on http://amiga.emugaming.com/cd32faq2000.html shows the same things on the same pins...

A500 kbd pins:

1 clock
2 data
3 reset
4 +5V
5 n/c
6 ground
