A600/1200 Fastram 2 Mb

Hi there, have this original Japanese PCMCIA SRAM card, made by Panasonic.
It gives you 30% performance boost when inserted in A600 or 50% boost in case of A1200 (contrary to urban legends it slows down A1200 in comparison with plain vanilla model). See pictures.

The price is 40 pounds including shipping costs to Europe. Other countries please inquiry.

I'm sorry but this can't be possible, do you have a 32-bit PCMCIA port on your A1200 or what?
It WILL slow down an A1200 to about 80% i can show you screenshot that proves it.
Please prove me wrong on this i would love this to work.

yes it can be possible check the screenshot...1.92 mips
however an A1200 with a ram card in cpu slot is faster ...sysinfo will report 2.5 mips aprox

OK, i guess i'll have to trust the seller here then.
I too have melcard so it seems they fare worse in these matters.
I always thought that the 16-bit PCMCIA interface was the bottleneck.
Are u running ChipMemPri by chance? It is used for Shapeshifter.
U might have that in startup-sequence without knowing it.
That will make the Amiga faster, until she's out of Chip Mem then it's back to 0,87 speeds again. Well, that is the case of my Amiga 1200, at least.

I am not interested in buying card right now.

Sorry for stirring up a riot in your thread.
