120 Gb Harddisk

I now there are many threads of this, but my english is not that good to understand it all to let it work.

Can anyone explain me very simple how i can AF8 recognize my 120Gb harddisk as 1 partition? Its connected in IDE bay with USB to pc. it recognize only a part of it. When i use hdinsttool to try partition as 120 Gb it only recognize the startup hdf. Hope my question is clear to understand. If the answer is to long to write down here you can email it also.

If you do get it working, then it will not work in a real amiga unless you have patched ROM or other third party device for using large drives.

Without these patches, you have to have a boot partition within the limitations of the ROM. Then you can load patches from there and it would see rest of drive.

I gonna use it in AF as Harddisk, the startup hdf i made myself is working fine the problem is getting the full 120Gb recognized as second harddisk.
even with sfs,pfs,pfs3,... installed on startup hdf.

problem solved. I used WB3.1.4 and the 120GB was immediately recognized. Had a few times to try to simulate the right chipset and processor before it worked but now its working.
Next is trying to install all the old good stuff and get it running.
