GRIND : choose the HUD design you like!

Meet the game's brand new HUD designs and the new protagonist!
Since I have 3 finalists in place (albeit not massively different from each other), I decided to make a poll and let the community to pickup the one that will ultimately be used in game!

Since this poll is running both at the game's Patreon page (https://www.patreon.com/Grind_Amiga) and Grind Discord server (https://discord.gg/QXGQbkRCxN)
please make sure you only cast your vote in one of these if you are also a member there.

The results will be announced sometime between this and the next week (this will be a rather short lived poll), so make haste, check the animated gif. below and choose wisely!

What is the difference between 1 and 3!?

Color of those small triangles beside the counters. Brown or grey.

The difference are so small it do not matter either way for me, all looks good.

They all look superb, but 3 is definitely my favourite.

(The AnimGIF had me confused for a moment, too - but the differences are subtle enough that I'd have had trouble even seeing what they were if they'd been posted as three separate images!)

Thanks, my screen brightness is down because of low battery, i see it now!

Eh no, you enlightened me. The differences are so small I just didn't notice it was a gif. So there are not three huds, there is one hud but people get to decide some small flair details.

Sorry about that guys, heh.
To my defence, I have already mentioned in the first post that the differences are rather subtle.

To be more clear, design 1 has brown/leather triangles with small bolts around, design 2 has no small bolts but 2 bigger screws left and right and design 3 is like the first but with green triangles.

Pretty much yes. Basically I've made a couple similar polls already (at patreon) with drastically different designs on display when the hud was still draft. But narrowing down these was easier and more straight forward (at least for me). When the general design was locked in place and cleaned up, I found myself quite undecided in regards to what final I should go with, hense this public poll (which was also a fine opportunity to showcase the work in general and to that end I hope you guys like what you see).

In any case, it seems the poll ultimately does exactly what it was created for, as I see a clear bias towards a specific, single design, so a big thanks to all that have voted already!

Having a huge pic than does not change I thought that the animation was broken, until I noticed the smaaaaaaaaal change below the pic

#1 is essentially #3 with less contrast and in #2 the screws just look out of place, nothing in the rest of the HUD looks close to it. So yeah the choice was pretty easy for me.

Well, it's not that trivial.

F.e. both 2 and 3 were my personal top picks. I feel 2 is more simple and straightforward (you could also say more austere) whereas 3 has a more 'exotic' feel, with its small detail and contrast. And as for 1, it is there cause it's closer to the original draft design which I got used to after working on it for so long.

And secondly it is exactly that last point. Working on the new hud design for the past ~2 months and on a daily basis, you can be certain I've burned both my eyes (and my brainz a bit) looking at it.

And because of that, a fresh, new perspective from the community is more than welcome
