Amiga Unix issues with A2024 and A2410

Hey there. I'm trying to set up an Amiga UNIX 2.1 environment in 4.4.0 (should I be using beta?) so I can have my old OPEN LOOK environment back.

(1) I've been unable to get the A2410 to work correctly. I have inserted the A2410 card into the RTG section, and it is configured as monitor 1, card 1.

I have used amixadm to set the color graphics card to the A2410.

When I start x with:

startx -- -tiga

(or if I add -tm 3)

I get an unable to initialize TIGA.

Ok, no problem, so I figured I'd set up the A2024, as I had one of those too, and used it before I got the A2410.

So used system.setup to enable the A2024 support, and when I start, I see a mashed A2024 display (piss yellow and other colors), and it doesn't work even when I switch the display in Chipset to A2024 or Autodetect.

(That's another thing, any time I switch to and from A2024, I have to go back here and toggle between A2024 and autodetect)

What gives?

Did you install Amix using emulated tape drive, tape image dumped from original install tape? There are some hacked versions floating around which might not work correctly.

A2024: Works for me, perhaps you have lores or non-doubled mode enabled? A2024 emulation won't work if hidden A2024 info scanline is missing.

Is there a better version?

As for the 2024, it works great from workbench, I just can't use it from the X server in UNIX.

A2410 seems to have been broken since 4.3.0 (Not even CGX4 + A2410 work).

Fix will be in next beta.
