The Feeble Files

Heya guys,

So finally installed this game via WinUAE

It's quite difficult to get running smoothly... at the moment I've selected a 68060 CPU and "Fastest possible".

My RTG settings are as follows: but I'm a noob when it comes to this:

Is this ok, or can you suggest better settings for this game?

Also, is there any way to:
  • Not show this screen and have "640x 480 8bit" selected as default?

  • Skip the very long intro somehow?

Small update to this thread, in order to skip the intro I just created a "Save" at the start of the game (which was already included in the .HDF in Update Pack #31 - Part 1)

Any solution to this though please guys?

Damiano on an "RTG" system on WinUAE there is not much difference between a 020 a 030 or 060.
Same for the Video Card, the Picasso IV although less qualitative only 4MB VRAM with 24bit maximum screens, is faster than the UAE Zorro III 256MB VRAM.

To avoid the very long intro somehow I have renamed the movies folder, this way the game will be faster.

Regarding the video resolutions request I have not found configuration files.

The Amiga version has only two languages, the PC one, if I remember correctly, has also the Italian version.

Made a little video using an old rescue, the game seems slow for cultured of the video capture program

In the end I just set a 68040 CPU, Fastest possible and JIT. Game runs decent enough with those settings

Nah, don't want to do that.

As mentioned I just created a "Save" at the start of the game. You load this instead of selecting "Start New Game" and no more intro obviously.

Me neither; and there is no .prefs file like other games create after saving options like this

Yes the best solution is saving options, renaming the movies folder I managed to start Feeble Files also on my AROS One 68k
