Vista and 2 joysticks

Hello.

I have a problem to use the second joystick in winUAE. I'am on Vista with the PC Competitor interface: http://w5.cs.uni-sb.de/~stahl/com/index_uk.html#s

When I was on XP, the was no problem. With my new PC, I had to buy an Gameport - USB interface: http://www.materiel.net/ctl/USB/5677..._Gameport.html

On this interface, I can select 4 positions:
- 4 axis 4 buttons
- 4 axis 8 buttons
- 4 axis 4 buttons w/view finder
- 4 axis 4 buttons
- 2 axis 4 buttons w/view finder rudder.

I select 4 axis 4 buttons like I have to do. I calibrated my 2 joysticks: no problem now.

In WinUAE, I used to select 4 axis 4 buttons for the Port 0 and another4 axis 4 buttons for the Port 1. But on XP, I remember there was 2 differents lines to select: one with A at the end and the second with B (I think). See the captures on Vista:

But I can't use the second joystick in the games.
Hope someone can help me. Have you ever met this problem?

Best regards.

In the game control panel, the joystick is named: 4-axis, 4-button joystick.

I can play with one joystick but not with the second (player 2).

Thanks for your help.

4-axis, 4-button joystick (GUID=10459D60-000011DB-000011DC-8001444553540000):
00 000 'Axe X' (-99,0)
04 004 'Axe Y' (-98,0)
14 020 'Rotation Z' (-87,0)
18 024 'Curseur' (-79,0)
4-axis, 4-button joystick (GUID=10459D60-000011DB-000011DC-8001444553540000):
30 048 'Bouton 0' (48,-1)
31 049 'Bouton 1' (49,-1)
32 050 'Bouton 2' (50,-1)
33 051 'Bouton 3' (51,-1)
I guess "Axe X" and "Axe Y" is joystick 1 X/Y axis and "Rotation Z" and "Curseur" is joystick 2 X/Y axis (and same with buttons)

This nonstandard configuration requires manual input panel configuration.

Thanks now I understanded how it works.

I can use the second joystick. Stay one problem: in Super Cars II, the car turn around. The horizontal axe (= rotation Z) works bad. I've calibrated in Vista but it's the problem stay.

Have you an another advice please?

Thanks.

Try some Amiga joystick test program first. (I guess there are some in aminet). This confirms if emulated joystick directions work properly.

Does it the car turn properly if you use keyboard? Perhaps it is normal behaviour
