WTB: 1084 RGB cable (old round type)

Afriend of mine has just picked up a 1084 monitor for his A1200 and is running it using composite output.

So if anyone has an RGB cable with the older round type connector at the monitor end rather than the 9pin D type connector they can spare please let me know.

Hiya,

I was going through my amiga gear last night and I found what appears to be an RGB monitor cable with 6 pins at one end and the 25 (?) pin connector for the Amiga video port at the other. Unfortunately the round end doesn't match either of my 1084 monitors, so no idea if it works etc. I can take a photo tonight if you want to check it out.

conversely, I'm after an RGB DB9 cable, so if you've got one of those maybe we can swap (I'm also in Melbourne)

regards,
Gizmomelb

Heh, so I went looking for the 9pin "D" cable and found two of the round type cables... So I'm all set. Thanks for the offer gizmomelb but I will not be needing to trade after all.

mods can close this thread or just let it die.

no problems,

so do you want to sell/trade the 9pin 'D' cable you've got? (I've got a heap of boxed original software/utils which I'm going to be offloading to ebay soon-including stuff not on HOL-so I need to do some scanning as well).

Regards,

I will probably end up finding the spare 9pin "D" cable when I go looking for something else, always the way. I will keep you posted if it turns up.
