Patching Kernel durring Install

Last night I finally had some time to try installing Amix. Been wanting to do it for years lol.

I'm using fs-uae 3.1.68 on a mac. I got all the way to the end of the install and it says it's patching the kernel. How long does this typically take? After 30 minutes, I left it and went to bed. Woke up this morning and it was at the same spot. fs-uae wasn't crashed but it's definitely seems stuck. Oh, I had warp mode enabled too.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Just as a test I removed the boot floppy and tried to boot the system. To my surprise it booted right up and went into the setup questions.


That all worked so I put in the patch disk, ran the script and that all worked too.



Not sure why the installer hung on patching the kernel but it doesn't seem to be a problem. As you can see, I have a fully installed system up and running.


Now to tackle x-windows!

Before FS-UAE could do Amix, I used to run WinUAE inside Wine on my Mac. There was an issue that the window would sometimes stop refreshing until I resized the window so it appeared frozen. Shouldn't think FS-UAE would have that, but just a thought.
