Dataflyer 1200 SCSI

I'm looking for someone with some experience with this A1200 scsi controller. I want to use it on my 1200 to add a cdrom drive in an external case. Only my SCSI cdrom case comes with a different type of interface then the 40 (or 50?) female pin connection port that is offered on the Dataflyer... Any ideas how I can cross the gap? Is there some sort of converter for that?
