You got that orange ODV model? I was looking at one of those as it's a nice, small form factor and has HDMI out. Mine is just the bare board with the mods hanging on with tentacle-like wires, a hacked Amiga video cable into the RGB inputs and VGA-out.

I've tried using a VGA-to-HDMI adaptor, but the ones I tried all forced 60Hz, so PAL games had choppy scrolling.

Does the ODV handle smooth scrolling in both PAL and NTSC modes over HDMI?

Ahh, I see. Well, I can totally recommend this one. It's not that expensive so imo totally worth it. I think the scrolling is smooth as butter. Just had a go with P.P. Hammer and there is nothing to complain about. If there is any specific game you'd like me to test I would be happy to.

For Amiga?

you can create own video for example ffmpeg has this type capability https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-filters.html#avsynctest

https://photojoseph.com/tips/2021/3/...5-2997-50-5994

I use for this my own video(s) and method described here https://cdn.rohde-schwarz.com/pws/dl...7/7BM77_1E.pdf

However the OP of the video does admit in the comments his LCD is not in game mode.

How can I time link a youtube video on eab? or disable the BB code?

TCD how do I do this?
Ok the ffmpeg thing might work

Pinball games are usually the best test subjects for noticing choppiness.
So fire up one of those and let us know

Way to expensive for what it is. Besides the one I got is pin sharp and free from lag you can physically notice.

EDIT: Yup, ended up ordering one. Will get back with a report of my experiences with it on my Amigas.

They are available on Amazon.

Actually worked, all is now well for only £37

Also worked on my C64 - thinking of buying two just to not have to remove scarts or scart adapter

Yes, its great for price. I did end up buying another mcbezal one, which this time worked. So using that on my modded RGB CD32. Works great.

Linkfor one, I use on my A1200. No issues at all. I cant notice any lag from them at all. Unlike the cheap ones.

Setup two TVs one CRT with native output and one LCD, place them next to each other and see if you notice anything.
Or don't coz once you do notice some lag your never be satisfied.
