Unreal English PAL Box Scans

Hi,

If anybody has Unreal PAL (English) and could scan it for C.A.P.S., it would be really appreciated. We currently have the US and German releases pretty much ready to go, but we would like to do the English PAL version too, as the English and German PAL box is very different from the US version.

Hopefully the manual is the same as the US version, we are trying to find that out now. If you have the manual too, that would be a bonus as we can find out if we need it scanning or not.

Thanks in advance!

fiath....i have Unreal PAL English...in fact the one on HOL comes from me!

Right...now folowing HOL, i have the front and back of the box as well as disk 1 ready at 300dpi, but they do need some restoring...so they could be up by tonight. I ftp somewhere right?

Now...the manual. Its has a brown coloured cover with Unreal written in black in the middle on the front, and on the back a picture of a diamonds protuding from a rock suspended in the middle of the page. UBI SOFT Entertainment Software is written at the bottom of both covers. Inside are many illustrations with the text written in a Timesesque font.

So...i could have the manual, disk 2 and 3 as well as the box sides up by tomorrow.

[EDIT] Box front and back and disk 1 are now restored and are on Codys FTP.[EDIT]

Will Scan everything else tomorrow...unless the manual is the same of course

Great! Thanks very much!

This means we have the first Tri-release: German and English PAL and English NTSC!

The NTSC version of the game seems a bit "rushed" though, just listen to the music, then try one of the PAL versions...

Ok...all have been uploaded to Codys ftp in the same place. All dimensions line up, so technically one could create a 3d representation of it

Great! Thanks! I will have to ask Cody for a login one of these days. I guess very soon! Or, if you are listening Cody, you send as before if you prefer...

3D representation? Here is a hint, but you will need to look carefully: http://people.freenet.de/magc/

Coming as-soon-as-it-is-done....

It won't be in releases, but generated from the release gameinfo.xml files, we just need to finish writing the tool (half done).

This also means we will be able to easily change to X3D when it becomes available (see http://www.web3d.org).

When the time comes, you can thank Marc (the owner of that page) for this.

Sorry Akira, but it has to be done.
