Commodore beat Amiga! The former released their first product, the later can't even upgrade a site!

Next time something in my house is not working, I'll slap a "powered by Amiga" sticker to it.

Temporarily out of existence

Perhaps they could pry the janitor away from development long enough for him to whip up a new website!

Send a message via ICQ to Duke
They have updated the site now. It's a great update, because it includes a link to HOL on the frontpage now

IF I start selling used washing machines on line with an Ameega badge on it can I link to HOL too ?

Or is product diversification only for the big boys ?

At least my products would be a " Clean break " from the present bunch and would come with a free Boink ball [ for putting your power powder right in the heart of the wash] and their own giant size box of " Woodys Bulls**t Remover " to get rid of those realy tough skids you get in your " New Improved " Amiga Adverts

Their move is logical, in their way of thinking. Their entire existance depends on how they can delude ex amigans who have the word "amiga" deep in their memories but don't have a clue about the current situation. Amiga.com expects their pity. They expect to be perceived as "the amiga", the brand as they think, made the games listed in the linked site, hol. Someone with this mindset will support them thinking that they were the guys running the gaming world in the 90s.

I believe creating as many victims as detailed above is amiga.com's business plan. This is not new, true but their attempt to abuse hol is new. They are trying to earn real cash by cheating people and they will greatly benefit the non commercial project namely hol.

Solution? Request money for that link! I don't understand why RCK is so happy. Don't you see it man? You or hol isn't benefitting from this. Amiga inc. does.

Yeah I would think requesting money or removing the link would be good.

Needless to say I was surprised by their so-called 'update'.
That looks like a pretty cheap move and ami.com now looks like a spam advertising site :\
