AmiDock: 1-Click App Launcher (for pre-3.0)
Oops - I meant app "Launcher" not Installer. Oh well.
Anyway, I wanted to share some info about a very cool piece of software written back in 1991 for the "Old OSes". If any of you folks here still use Amigas running 1.2, 1.3 or 2.0 - with a hard drive - this software might be for you. It mimics a UI feature originally found on the NeXT Computer. It allows you to hand-pick programs you might use A LOT and create a small button for them in a "Dock" on your Workbench. You can even create your own icons for each program (which is a lot of fun) if you have Deluxe Paint. In any case, I made a video about the program where I show how to install and customize it to your own needs. [ Show youtube player ] Also, I wrote the instructions down on how to install and customize it in case you're not in a place to watch/hear video. I also ripped an ADF from my original disk and made it available for downloading in case you want to give it a try. Let me know if you do! (And if you have any questions, feel free to fire away.)
