Unfortunately the frontier series didn't support hd installing. I was very frustrated when I found the notice on my original Gateway box. The other Goldbox titles can be sucesfully installed.

I guess it's because of lame programming instead of "size and scope" of the game as the notice says !

what is the problem ?

copy folders save, diska, diskb , diskc to dh0:gateway/
swo you have at the end a directory gateway and inside you have a dir diska , diskb, diskc and save plus the gateway executeable

open a shell and change to gateway and start it. or do an icon and run by doubleclick. there you have your hd version from disk.

same show for treasures of the savage frontier

I think it was not as easy as that.
The game used too much chip memory. It runs out of memory eventually if you play from hd. Maybe it'll run if you boot with no startup-sequence I didn't try.
