Delfina Sound Card

Does anyone have version 4.16b3 of the delfina.library for the Delfina sound card, or the library patched by Michael Henke? I'm beginning to think that I might be able to actually use this card if I can get hold of one of those libs.

You're lucky, I just found this post by chance (google)
I can send you the patched lib, just send me an e-mail.

regards,
Michael Henke

Out of curiosity, what Delfina card do you have (e.g. Lite, Flipper) and for what machine?

Did you ever get the Delfina.library file.
I am also looking for it with little luck.
Any help would be appreciated...

@vpcs

I've only just noticed these replies, and sent Michael Henke an email. I'll let you know what happens.

@DrBong

It's an Individual Computers Delfina Lite. I ordered the Lite, plus the Flipper interface, from Vesalia.de; the Lite arrived, but the Flipper was never released (nor even finished). If I wasn't so lazy I'd try and get the £50-odd I paid for it back. I've tried it with three machines:

1 - Works OK:
- A1200 rev 1d.4
- Blizzard 1230-IV 50MHz
- 16MB Fast RAM

2 - Does not work:
- A1200 rev 1b
- Blizzard 1260 50MHz
- 32MB Fast RAM

3 - Does not work:
- A1200T rev 1d.4 with all fixes
- Blizzard 1260 50MHz
- 96MB Fast RAM
- SCSI-II kit
- ZIV busboard
- X-Surf
- etc.

I think that it's the 060 CPUs causing the problems; however, I may have removed the accelerator from the tower at one stage when trying to get the card to work and had no success.

OK, a quick update. Michael Henke sent me the libraries, but they only work with the original Petsoff version of the Delfina card. They're too old to be compatible with the Individual Computers board. If anyone still wants these, either send me a PM or send Michael an email (he has never distributed these libraries publically, probably with good reason, so I'd rather not upload them to the Zone).

Good news.....a newer beta of Delfina Library V4.16 can be found in the support area of the Individual Computers website. Apparently it fixes bugs in previous betas for A1200 Delfina Lite users. Give it a whirl with AHI 5.13ß, which was released a couple of weeks ago.

Hey!

Just a question. (I think) I'm experiencing some issues with my DeflinaLite (Zorro) card these days. It _feels_ like I've seen this before, back in the days. Just can't remember. But if someone has somewhat similar HW as me could share what versions of delfina.library, AHI and other things they're using it would be awesome!

I'm running an A4000 with DelfinaLite, PicassoIV+PalomaIV, XSurf-100 and RapidRoad in my daughterboard. The CPU-card I'm using is a CyberStormPPC 060, slightly overclocked and 128MB RAM. No FastRAM on the motherboard, only Chip. MapROM and PFS3-disks.

Everything seems to work fine - I can use AHI applications, and I can decode MPEG audio in the DSP, I even run FroggerNG decoding MPEG video in the PPC and MPEG audio in the DSP playing in a PicassoIV PiP window without any issues.

However.... When I use DigiBooster Pro 2.1 (and the 3.x demo) I run into problems... But ONLY when loading 16bit samples or modules containing 16bit samples. As soon as I load such data - DigiBooster hangs more or less violently just when AHI initializes... Sometimes I can still have a (garbeled) mouse pointer but no GUI elements react and such things. Other times it even Gurus on me.

Edit: It's enough to toggle "8bit" to "16bit" in the bar above the pattern-editor to get this behavior.

Weird thing is I recall AmigaOS 3.1.4 worked fine, as far as I remember and AmigaOS 3.2 (on ROMs, with 3.2.1 in Startup-Sequence) does not.

I just want to rule out that it's not my Delfina set-up that is borked. So... For a DelfinaLite (the triangular Zorro card) - What software versions has worked flawless for other people (with similar HW setup).
