IBrowse compatible sites...
Since 2006, no new version has appeared , and since then, most of websites now are not well displayed there, even my website, which is a pure old style HTML web or most of mobile light versions.... but for example, Amiga Lemon, Aminet or GMail are examples of very well displayed websites.
Some questions: 1 -Will Ibrowse or any other AMIGA OS browser be updated? 2 - Is there any Amiga HTML compatible editor? I want to transform my website into a 100% compatible one 3 - Do you know a list of AMIGA OS (3.X) compatible websites? Regards, Salva |

1. I'm not sure about IBrowse and Voyager, but AWeb is open source. So if it is lacking any particular feature, it could be updated.
2. MetalWeb (http://www.vapor.com/metalweb/) is the best-known. 3. http://amigan.1emu.net should be fine...and Aminet too of course.... |

You're right, even it seems to work better in my A1200 than for example, this PC

Most of my projects should be still IBrowse-compatible like

Add these to the list:
http://m.yahoo.com http://m.youtube.com (you can use GetVideo http://aminet.net/package/comm/www/getvideo-0.29 to download the video) http://m.facebook.com http://mobile.twitter.com http://mobile.osnews.com In general, mobile version of web sites work well in IBrowse/Aweb. In some cases, like OsNews, I prefer the mobile version (less cluttered) than the standard one. Have also a look at TidyRead web service (http://www.tidyread.com) to extract the main content from a usually-cluttered web page. |
