A few bucks? Nothing special about this. It's just a generic SCSI CD-ROM in an external case.

Hi
I was wondering if £20 was too much - I need a drive for my A1200 |

This is just a SCSI drive in an external enclosure. You'll still need a SCSI controller for the Amiga to use it. If you have that, then it might be worthwhile. But, I still think it's too common to make it worth much.

Hehe I have one of these (double speed) that I bought in 1996 (I think) for my A600. It cost about £200 at the time complete with a black PCMCIA Squirrel SCSI adaptor.
Very well built with audio outputs on the back. The one in that picture does not appear to have any form of SCSI interface/adaptor though - so you would need to buy one of those as well. |
