Another newbie with WHDload [configuration questions]

I installed GBAmiga 1.4 Updated to 1.4.3.
I have a directory structure like this
GameBase Amiga
+ Extras
- Boxscans (with subdirs 0-Z)
- Hints (with subdirs 0-Z)
- Instructions (with subdirs 0-Z)
- MP3
- SPS (with subdirs 0-Z)
+ Games (with subdirs 0-Z)
+ GFx
+ Music (with subdirs 0-Z)
+ Screenshots (with subdirs 0-Z)
+ Scripts
+ Sounds
+ Splash
+ WHD
+ whdrun-data

I dont't have a WHDload directory under extras. Can I create it manually and does it need subdirs 0-Z or can I put all WHDload games in one directory ?
And do I have to set a new path in GBAmiga for WHDLoad games ? I can't find a option for it in GBAmiga ?

And when I set the filter in GBAmiga to palyable WHDload games it shows 1403 games, although I haven't installed WHDload packs yet. It loads the games then from the adf images. Is that right ?

Sorry for all the questions...

and btw. THIS PROJECT ROXXXX

Yeah you can create it manually in your Extras directory (nowhere else). It does not need any subdirs, you can just dump the ZIP archives from KG's packs right in there.

Nope, just your Extras path has to be set right, that's all.

Hmm, I guess that filter just shows the ones that are linked, not the ones you actually have (although I think the Extras button, when clicked, should only show you the stuff you actually have). I thought there used to be 2 filters (for what's linked and what's actually available), maybe they got before the release somehow.

@Belgarath: ?

Thank you very much !

About the not installed but "playable" WHDload games.
If I set the Filter to "Playable WHDLoad games", it shoes me 1403 games. I can even play them, but when I click "Play", it loads the zipped .adf file.

I will try to install WHDLoad packs now

Thanks again for all your help !

Yeah, the Play button will always play the ADF version. If you want to play a different version (SPS or WHDLoad) you have to use the Extras button.

GameBase is limited when it comes to the Extras filter, you can only check if there are extras linked, you can't check if they exist on the hd. (you can only do that with adfs).

If you do a tools > verify, anything you don't have will be greyed out and unselectable.
