Sorry if my original post wasn't clear.
This is a bit confusing, the specs of this adapter talks about DIP 42 chips, and not DIP 40 chips as the 27C400 ?

Yeah. Lost in translation I guess.

The software specifies the adapter for 27C400s. I was tempted just to plug the EPROM in the programmers ZIF, but on closer inspection the adapter isn't wired 1:1 to the ZIF so its clear that wouldn't work.

Thank you for the clarification!

Does anyone know if the 27C400 adapters designed for TL-866II Plus are compatible with the T48 ?

I just got one (reluctantly because the T48 isn't yet supported by the open source minipro software, but the previous model is simply impossible to find !) and I can't read anything.

Reading an original Amiga ROM (Kickstart 2.05) gives me only repeated "FEFF"s .
Blank 27C800s are failing the blank check, again the software sees "FEFF" and in some areas other values.

I'm 100% sure that these chips are good, because I also have a different programmer (GQ-4x4) on loan and I'm burning these chips with it right now. I just wanted a cheaper TL-866 to keep for myself, but so far it's a fail !

Anybody seen this problem before ?
