Worms AGA - The Directors Cut

Ignore this post: Ijust tried it under an A4000/040 and it works fine.......For some reason I had it in my head that a 4000 was an ECS machine so never tried it

Can anybody confirm this is 100% cracked?

I have tried both version from TOSEC

Worms - The Director's Cut (1998)(Team 17)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 3).adf
and
Worms - The Director's Cut (1998)(Team 17)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 3)[h Ninja's AGA World].adf

And also the version from Gamebase and under FS-UAE either 1200 or 1200/020 all 3 versions get to the title screen where it says "press right mouse button or blue".

They load a bit further after pressing the right mouse button and then reboot (sometimes with a GURU, but not always).

I don't have access to a Windows machine to test it with WinUAE so I'm unsure if its a problem with FS-UAE or a possible bad crack.

Edit: also what exactly does it mean when it says "right mouse button or blue?".....what is blue?

Blue means probably the button of the CD32 pad. Add some Fastram, and the game should load properly. Just tried the Gamebase Amiga version with Fastram and it works fine.

The loading times are painful in this game. WHDLoad ftw.

Not to bad with floppy speed set at 400

To be honest the load times don't really bother me (long load times drive me mad in modern games to the point where I'll just stop playing them EG: Skyrim)

But when I'm in retro mode I like emulation to be as close as possible (including real load times/floppy drive sounds etc)

True, but some games don't like if you change the floppy speed. Then use the Warp option.

It can also be played on a standard A1200. It requires all bits of ram lol, so external drives, hd, etc... has to be disabled first.

I'm glad you've avoided getting too into the nostalgic moment
