RAR XAD - AmigaOS3 ?
Is there an XAD RAR for AmigaOS3.x ?
http://aminet.net/package/util/arc/xad_rar (this is for AmigaOS4) I want to be able to list inside of RAR files using Dopus5 by double clicking. (Amikit is configured to do so but since it's missing RAR for XAD, it gives an error) |

Can you upload it to the zone please?
EDIT: It seems like I have a RAR file inside LIBS:XAD too. But DOPUS gives an error message when I double click on a rar file. Maybe there's a problem with arcdir_xad.dopus5 arexx file ? Also UnARC can not unarchive RAR files. Can you unarchive RAR files using UnARC ? Last edited by ancalimon; 18 January 2012 at 18:46. |

I have the rar xad for 68k somewhere, but it's only good for rar 2.x archives and most of them nowadays are 3.x (as supported by the xad rar for OS4).

There is rar 3.80 68k for amigaos3. How do we we use that command with Dopus Maglaan so that it lists the contents of rar archives when we double click them?

I can extract a RAR file (V2.9) with UnRAR 3.8. I don`t know if it works with 3.x RAR files (nof file to test).
Unfortunately ArcDir_xad.dopus5 isn`t up to date, so they might be problems (e.g. xadarclist, xadUnFile). You can try to contact the author (see script) and ask him for a update. Because I`ve a generally problem with xadunfile (it just crash) I can`t say if browsing through RAR achives works. BTW. xadarclist seems to be equal xadUnFile. Don`t know why both are used in the script if they equal? |

command line unrar won't help you list files in a lister, but rather as text afaik. command unrar can indeed work 3.x archives.
