Sgt. Bilko in Cannon fodder
I always wondered what this picture says:
"Richard Joseph as Sgt. Bilko" Recently I discovered there is a movie Sgt. Bilko, so I though the name could be based on the title character. Problem is the movie is from 1996 while the game is 1993. So is the movie and the game reference based on some pupular character in English speaking countries? |

There was a great American TV comedy show back around the 50s (I think - it was in black and white from what I remember) called the Phil Silvers' Show in which he played the scheming Sgt Bilko. The movie was later based on that I think.

Correct, Used to love watching reruns of tv show as a kid. The guy who did voice for Top Cats buddy Benny was in it. |

And Top Cat itself was "inspired" by The Phil Silvers Show.
