xxxBSD/Unix/Linux
I wanted to see how good the CPU-emulation was and thus wanted to check if it was at all possible to install NetBSD on a WinUAE setup.
The Setup I used for the purpose is: CPU: 68040 (Fastest Possible), JIT, Picasso-emulation via UAE-Gfx. Emulated Hardware includes full AGA, Sound 100%, Exact Blitter/Copper, Full Collision Level. ROM KS3.1 from my A1200, RAM 2MB Chip, 64MB Z-III Fast, GFXcard mem 32MB Hard-drive setup for the test: 540MB on UAEHD.device (was mounted as unit 5, according to HDToolBox) xstreamtodev from NetBSD 3.2 (?) installation CD did not find the intended HD I hope this is enough info, otherwise, I could always save the .config and send it of to whoever |

It won't work, MMU emulation is missing. (search older threads for more information)
Also harddrives (hdf or real) won't work because harddrives are not emulated in hardware level. |

Just for the record . . . would it be possible to use the x86 MMU (or someof it, at least) to emulate the 68851? Or does the Motorola MMU differ muchly from the Intel(Compatible) ones?
