Problems accessing abime webpages

Hi,

I seem to having a strange problem accessing webpages on the abime network, this includes eab, irc, hol etc.

I have no problems accessing the site from work, just from home.

It finds eab.abime.net but sometimes it just refuses to load all of the page, sometimes I just get the logo. I've tried rebooting, resetting my router, renewing my IP address and all sorts but I still get times when any of the abime sites either take ages or refuse to load at all.

I can ping the sites fine with no problems but with tracert I have variable results.

All of the hops seem to be fine apart from hop 9 which I frequently receive timeouts from.

It's really annoying as I don't seem to be having any problems accessing any other sites, just the abime network.

Please does anyone have any ideas?

If you renew your IP it's definitively not a black list problem.
abime should have a good international connexion (Level3 and MCI), so I can't really do more here.

Please post here the detail of your traceroute and the name of your ISP, I will see if my host have peering problem with them.

I suggest you to do the same thing, contact your ISP with the traceroute detail and ask them to fix the boggus router if possible.

Ah cool, at least it's not just me then

I've only recently setup my router so I thought that might be the issue originally.

Was only when I did the traceroute that I got a bit suspicious.

I sometimes find I have had to disable Javascript (In Firefox: Tools > Options > Content tab) to speed eab up. This was when the IRC stats box (at top of page) played up.

Now that irc server is stable, changing this won't speed up a lot.
No, any news on my side.
