Ah, sorry, I missed that chipset info. Doh.

Version 1.5?? The latest version of the dumping disk is 1.3 (in the header of each screen).

Ahh, hand on, I think you mean the version in the intructions. Hmm, I see how that can be confusing. Version 1.5 refers to the version of that document, not of the dumping disk itself.

I suspect you have the latest version. It doesn't change much anyway. There has only been one functional change since the first release 2 years ago - and that was mostly to solve problems generated by certain hardware on big-box Amiga's.

Ok, sounds good...

What I might do is just hammer away and image as many as i can (1GIG SCSI on my A500) and take my time uploading them, what with other commitments commonly known as life .

Oh and on another matter, what was the filename for JetSetWilly ?, I seem to remember downloading it from an email, but I cant find it in my amiga download directory :eek

Cheers.

Resolved!

IFW had a look at it. Now - after him peeking through the game a bit...

Course disk 3 is genuine and contains all the tables for 512k machines. Files and the disk itself is called "LAME" for some reason on its directory data

Seems this version was removed from most distributions and the game labelled 1meg only.

Luckily it is unmodified (I guess since you couldn't run it whiteb ). The rest of the disks are exactly the same with the other (possibly later) version.

Hurrah!

Sweeeeet! Great to discover a previously not-known-to-exist majorly different version of this top game all of a sudden.

Its not a different version. It is just that disk, which allows the game to be played on 512Kb machines. Though I guess this does mean the game will differ slightly using that config.

This is now available as an IPF. Just one question. Can you tell me what it says on the disk, is it really just "Course3" or is it "CourseDisk3" or something...

I'll let you have it as soon as I know

@Fiath

I thought I uploaded the disk scans to submissions ?

Oh well I'll do it again.

[edit] yerp, go to submissions, in my directory look for "Pinball fantasies 4 disk ECS" directory.

Those on my webspace, are size reduced for space saving but there to give you an example.
The uploaded scans are the usual 300DPI color non reduced PNG scans.

My current project is slowly working through "Super space invaders manuals (2), comprising of english, frence, German in the manual, and the english only levels guide.

Oops, yes, thanks - I forgot about those.

Okay, note that this course disk has been added to the ID 25 set because all the other disks are exactly the same. i.e. is is not a "new" release.

Number of disks for that game has been updated appropriately.

Poor Fiath and his dialup modem...... and just to make it fry again, I am uploading the manuals to Super Space Invaders (only getting 6K a sec up)

86MB.

1 manual and 1 inside guide.

Mostly greyscale cept for the covers. Has your modem recovered yet from the Projectyle poster yet ????

Hi Andreas,

Just got the course disk 3 IPF......

Ran Winuae in a A1000 type setup. (68000, 512K of ram, OCS) only with boot disk and course disk 3, and it still asks for "Insert any course disk"..... so I dont know what the hell its for

It *DID NOT* display the "Extra ram located" screen that 1MB+ users get. (cos the "amiga" only had 512k).

That's my question, too! How to use this disk ?

Maybe that's why they removed the 3rd Course Disk later, it doesn't work...
