The list contains say 10 games or so , ones that I consider sacred and I have been searching fruitlessly for. I'll post it here, in hopes of help in the matter from anyone who may do so.
1 Sword of the Samurai 2 Elysium 3 WEC le mans 4 Strike force harrier 5 Air Force Command WW2 disk (VERY Rare) E baying this one.. 6 Castles 2 (CD32) Stuck with PeeCee version 7 Powerboat USA 8 Borodino 9 Universe 3 (Impressions) 10 And the last I have, from ood ol' Bernd's site. But, I have failed to get it to work. I have posted "JU-52" on the ADF zone to see if youse can make out the key codes..the game boots fine, no problem..just need to figure what keycodes are, because of the german keyboard. Where does an umlauted "a" or scharfes "s" correspond on an american keyboard?? Anyone that helps is very much appreciated, and gets a free Liberace tee shirt and action figure. Maybe you've already tried it but just in case, have you changed the keyboard layout to the german one?
Then in any writing program just press all the keys (one by one of course) together with Shift, Alt, Ctrl and so on and you should discover which keys do what even if you have an american keyboard. |

I uploaded Borodino, Elysium (German), Powerboat USA, Strike Force Harrier and Universe 3 to the ADF-Zone.
Here is a US and German keyboard, straight from the WHDLoad docs. Removed attachment Last edited by Ian; 27 October 2001 at 01:20. |

You can always use teh workbwench util ShowKeys (or some shit like that) that is stored in the Tools dir of SYS:
It will show you the mapping you have set up, and if you press A , Ctrl or Shift, it shows you the modified ones |

Nah, no problem Cody!I do expect your list to be mostly of games that have not been transferred and distributed online, or have been but are bad dumps\cracks, or of games that are of specious exisence, such as Night Raider\Dive Bomber.

Castles 2 CD32 is on my request list too
WAIT! No it's not! I have it! Castles 2 CD32 ISO is a little big to be posted on the ADF Zone Message me. I'll put up a temporary FTP if you want it ---- Update: I'm capped to 16kb/sec upload, so don't complain about the shitty speeds Last edited by Amigaboy; 29 August 2001 at 22:43. |

Moscow, we have a problem: Powerboat USA
As Cody proclaimed...
Quote:
This time it's not the emulator - this game is simply UNCRACKED! Another issue for Codetapper to look at it (if he can spare some time currently ). Yes, definitely NO emulator problem. This game runs in a kind of demo mode with everything working but the buttons to get into the actual game. I'm going to post this info on the "uncracked games" section of EAB. Aye, andreas, the game won't let you race the boats. I wonder if someone on this board has the codes or manual, or somewhere on the internet it exists.
Another Amiga hunt is on |

This is true. I have even used the codewheel from my Heatwave original with the uncracked Powerboat USA copy that is circulating on the net.

Back to Sliding Skill, your first request: meanwhile I've found out that this game is 'WinFellow ONLY'.
WinUAE misses an essential thing: the outlined square sprite to select the blocks, making the game unplayable. Fred: whose crack did you upload? SKID ROW? If yes, I got that. |

Yes it was the Skid Row crack, andreas. Twist, it is indeed a WinFellow only game..it had same problem as Jupiter MAsterdrive, for example. I then tested Jupiter on WinUAE 8.17r1 , and the cursor appeared. So I tried Sliding on the new WinUAE..no dice

Sliding Skill and WinUAE - still no avail
Update:
Checked with WinUAE 0.8.17 R3 - in spite of Toni's numerous fixes this game doesn't work correctly yet. Pity. |

Powerboat USA
Hi guys
Been away from the board a bit this weekend, out go-karting and the like Anyway does Powerboat USA and/or the USA version still need cracking or did Amigaboy do it successfully? There's a message in the "games which need cracking" section from a month or two back... |

Code, old chap. the game I really wish you'd save for us is USS John Young/ Operation Spruance. Both are the same with differing names. Both won't work on WinUAE or WinFellow. Its not a problem witht he game , Isuspect, but with the emus. Maybe We should ask Toni or Worfje?

Well Codetapper, but then you had better do the Dragon's Breath crack first, because as far as I can see, there's much more demand for this one than there is for other cracks *beg* *beg* *beg*
I managed to obtain the original MFM dumps of the game and I hope you can do something with them. I uploaded them 2 or 3 times, but because you were only occasionally browsing the forum, you might have missed it. Anyway, I'm gonna re-up them NOW. NOTE: There's also a thread in 'games that need to be cracked'. andreas |

Dragon's Breath for Galahad!
Dragon's Breath is on Galahad's list of games to fix. I tried to do a WHDLoad install for it but it's such a messy O/S friendly game that it soon became a nightmare so I gave up on that one.
With regards to USS John Young/Operation Spruance, if the game doesn't work on a real Amiga then it's an emulation problem for somebody else to fix I'm afraid. |
