Super Sprint - Atari ST Conversion
Is underway.
I will simply port the Atari ST version directly, I'm not interested in making it Amiga enhanced, as there are better clones of this game already on Amiga (Nitro as a for instance). All graphics are ripped, and work has begun on conversion of the music. Sound effects will be replaced. |

Yes, this is a very good idea.
Years ago I had the same idea, too, but unfortunately I don't know how to begin, figure it... Can you post something to test before the finished version? |

I fully intend to upload Work In Progress versions, if for nothing else, to ensure that it works on all Amiga's and WinUAE.
To be honest, Super Sprint technically is a very simple game so I don't forsee any problems with compatibility anyway. It won't use the blitter at all, as the sprite sizes are so weedy that a 68000 will move the whole game around with ease. So far, the cross fading titles are done and I have also included the race selection and the high score table, next is the bare bones of the racing itself. |

Nitro isn't a Super Sprint clone...
Super Off Road Racer is a better example of one: HOL Database (id=2681) |

Yeah, this is Nitro, but it doesn't have much in common with Super Sprint, apart from being a racing game.

Supercars2 its the pinnacle of this kind of games, imo.
Supersprint clones I would say Badlands and IndyHeat. but they arent very good. Of coz, SuperOffRoad is one of the betters too. And another cool Graftgold conversion. |

"Danny Buys the Best stuff" hummm thinking about this...I seem to remember two versions one where "Danny Buys the Best stuff" and another with a computer chip thing..... |

Trivia:
Super Sprint, StarQuake, and Where Time Stood Still all had release dates for the Amiga versions. |
