Serial Dongle protection?
Hi all,
I have two programs that use a mouse port #2 serial dongle(s). Is there any way to backup these or remove this protection from the software (emulate) if these ever go bad? Last edited by FerociousAmiga; 16 February 2023 at 02:49. |

Some years ago I asked Toni a similar question about 2/3 programs I had which required a dongle to run, and he was able to emulate them (*).
I had to disassemble them (one was very tough, all solidified plastic around the electronic components. Mainly resistors) and send him the schematics, though. Maybe you can do the same?
