Supremacy
Supremacy - perhaps a little too much like a spreadsheet, but managing your planets and sending your men off to war was fun!

Civilization
What can I say? The interface may be rubbish and it's necessary to patch the AGA version to turn off annoying screen fades, but games don't get much more engrossing than this!

Colonization
Colonization - a more precise version of Civilization. It's completely Workbench friendly too and supports different screenmodes.

Mega Lo Mania
Mega Lo Mania - sometimes success is too random, but another classic Sensi Software game.

I think Cody started this thread just so he could post a few double barrels
Retroman: You just listed 3 of the latest in Amiga entertainment. Not into old school eh? Since Civilization isn't realtime, I'm assuming turnbased games are alright? So. Defender Of The Crown would be up there for me (although it's not all totally strategy) I must agree with Retroman though about Napalm. That game rocks |

Dune 2 & Theme Park
I was never a big fan of this genre because too much thinking is involved. I prefer shmups or any other 'mindless' game.
The only RTS I found interesting on Amiga were Dune 2 and Theme Park. Pity that in the latter the negotiation-with-employee aspect ruins almost the whole game. |

@ Akira
good thing.. K240 is my fav strategy game for Amiga. Ohh, how I forgot Dune 2! I played this one for ages too I don't like Theme Park too much... maybe it runs to fast in my PC, I don't know, I think you have to do TOO MANY things at the same time, and everything goes wrong too fast. Or maybe I am just a crap manager |

My favourite stratagy game, although it is hard to narrow it down, is Mega Lo Mania although I disagree with Cody about success being random
I also enjoys Theme Park, in fact I like most of the games in this thread, but Mega Lo Mania is my favourite |
