There are soooo many. Here's a couple for now:
Geoff Crammond's F1GP One of the first Amiga games that I bought. The guitar, drums, fast tempo and visuals wind you up to play. Showing F1 car stats, building up a car and using the BBC TV F1 theme tune (can't remember what it's called), I was desperate to get into my virtual car. SOTB2 Ran this under emulation a few weeks back and it is still impressive (so is the 'game over' tune - but that's OT!) Bart vs the Space Mutants Shame about the game. Chaos Engine Simple slideshow; but great graphics and funky music I think I'll be coming back to this topic... ![]() |

Off the top of my head...
Shadow of the Beast 2 Another World Birds of Prey Beast 1 (simple, but effective and evocative ![]() Myth (also simple but worked well) Jumping Jackson (excellent intro music! ![]() Gods (great music by Nation XII, I also liked the intro story that can be read if you don't press fire.) The intro of Hostages was OK too. Those are the ones I can remember...more to come!!! |

Most of the best intros were for Psygnosis games IMO.
My faves: Beast 1 and 2 Armour Geddon Killing game show Chaos Engine Lemmings Another World |

Even though it might not have said that much I really enjoyed the intro to Pinball Illusions. Good music and fairly well timed.
If I had to go for animation though I'd vote either Fury of the furries or Out of this world(another world) |

Chaos engine (CD32 version) has a cool intro with some nice speech......but it lacks the nation xii music
![]() Every psygnosis game intro was great......I always liked the "3d" nitro intro |

@Doozy: Liberation CD32 speech is OK. Hammy, with bad accents, but it still adds to the atmosphere. Rather like Beneath a Steel Sky CD32.
Some intros not mentioned yet that are cool: Virtual GP: pre-rendered spinning car Roadkill CD32: pre-rendered cars smashing into each other Sensi CD32: Very evocative music against a photo backdrop (Italy 1938 I believe) |

I'd have to say Microcosm has the best intro. I highly recommend you download it from somewhere and watch it using WinUAE, it is simple brilliant.
Also Alien Breed: Tower Assualt for the CD32 is also very good IMO. |
