Wow! This is an awesome collection! Some great games there! I thought there was an upload section on Aminet, unless that's gone?

Yes some of them could probably be uploaded to Aminet but the authors have chosen not to...

Seems the emuisland links have already broken?

Will put these files on if I can't find a new link...

Update

Amigenerator and Snes9x 68k can still be downloaded here (Colem is on there too)

http://emuisland.amiworld.it/index.php?page=22

Darcnes 68k is here

http://emuisland.amiworld.it/index.php?page=23

You could ask the authors if they accept the upload to Aminet. Uploader and author don`t have to be equal. At least it would be better to have it on Aminet than on unknown places.

Indeed. Who knows what will do, they can delete the files whenever they want and on the EAB file server they're safe.

Framsticks 1.50 is now on the new Framsticks site here:

http://www.framsticks.com/varia/

There is a chance that it will be recomplied to remove the need for a keyfile.

In the meantime here is another...

ChaosCastle Freeware release:

http://web.archive.org/web/200403081...haosCastle.lzx

Plus Grotte Trashware release:

http://web.archive.org/web/200202042...tle/Grotte.lzx

Will see what can be done about the other software...

The upload page on Aminet was removed for improvements a while back (last year?) and the only way to upload files to Aminet is by FTP.

I'm one of the Aminet admins. Yes, web upload was taken done (because of technical problems). it should be back real soon (though, tbh, we're saying that for quite some time now ).

I'd appreciate if any of these titles would end up at Aminet, but I lack the time right now to check with individual authors. If you have permission to upload but don't want to bother with FTP, feel free to mail the packages to aminet@aminet.net.

Isn't putting all this stuff together what collections like TOSEC are for?

I just sent a pm to the thread starter, as I'm hunting for the ffnews239_free.lha. I have the authors generous permission to release it (on aminet etc) and the source code, but the free archive is missing. So if anyone have it, the zone would be great.
Thanks

The archive is still there, but this site was forced to remove all mentions of m-e-d-i-a-f-i-r-e a while back. Try this:

http://205.196.120.6/file/74f0ltqbd9...FFNewsFree.lha

Good news that you now have permission to post it on Aminet.

Yes, one less software for the software archeaologists in the future to guess about.
The source is already uploaded http://aminet.net/comm/news/FFNews_src.readme
so this will be the missing companion. Thanks!

Did you have any luck in contacting the other authors in your list?

Are all these on EAB's FTP? You should upload them there to have a backup.
