I hope you can select between old and new.

Those new graphics... are you sure it's not AGA? beautiful, really. Top work.

This looks so good that I wish you weren't only making a port but also enhancing the gameplay. More moves, side corridors, rooms, items to collect... The original Kung Fu Master was very repetitive...

Thanks for the kind words.

If I had the chip ram I would probably do this. Maybe a possiblility if the game finds additional chip ram on boot. I have to cut the cloth to suit and the target is A500 with 0.5mb slow ram.

You will, but may end up as two binaries because we are likely to change some of the game play in the new version - Tenshu is quite keen on adding more levels.

I'm probably serious in that if you type 1984 on the title menu you'll get the original KFM graphics and game.

I've done some internal spite sheet handling stuff so I can now load multiple sprite sheets into ram for different levels where previously I was only ever dealing with one.

Here's an example, each enemy is in a different sprite sheet but assigned the same code handler.

Looks fantastic, i know it was mentioned but i really hope theres as an option(even if manually copying files etc.) to being able to use the original gfx(crappy as they are vs the wonderful updated gfx). Its just having next to arcade perfect always triumphs updates even if the new gfx are so much better.

Latest video looks excellent, great work mcgeezer!

I believe we ll go for a cheat code in the menu that will load the original asset...
because it s not only the graphic that change. i want to add some extra level, I also have few ideas of AI variation. i want the game to be a little longer and had a little more variety than the original.
