I thought it might be a generic slave but it's not.
Infact it's not WHD at all 'cos there's no slave in the archive.

if JOTD still has his source-code for that version, it might be quite easy for someone to create a WHDload slave for it

Maybe DJ Mike complete this one in the near future. Only load/save support for the CD32 version is missing yet.

Sadly my WHDLoad activity sank to 0% some time ago. The Exile install is done but for CD32 saves/loads - that's it. I managed to make the install work without resorting to using KickEmu, meaning it starts up a whole lot faster. I'll try to work on the CD32 saving/loading in WinUAE but my real Amiga is packed up for the time being so if someone wants to finish this one off, there's always a possibility for using my source.

Hello,

I would like to play Exile AGA on FS-UAE, but I'm hanging at "Now insert Exile disk 2" after the Intro-Picture all the time.

Tried all the versions I have and also have one image of "disk 2" - but no luck.

Any ideas?

PS: If I insert Disk 1 & 2 from scratch, FS-UAE will start from Disk 2 which doesn't work of course.

This is one of the rare AGA only Games. A real gem of the late Amiga era.

I've never played the game before so saving needs checking.

Yup it works.
Just make sure to select "Prep Disk" in save menu first.

Save prepared HDF upped to my folder:
/~Uploads/Retroplay/Bootable_WHDLoad_hdfs_(no_kickemu_games)/Exile_(AGA)_JOTD_HD_Loader_v1.0.zip

No WHDLoad Slave necessary, because good old JST version is working fine!

JST version is probably working fine but still would be better to get whadload version with support for all versions (ECS, AGA, CD32).
