Amiga on The Lake
Has anyone out there received a 3.1.4 os shipment from Amigaonthelake? It's been months since I've ordered, with no word.

I think they got burned in the Hyperion 3.1.4 hype. BAM! No excuse for stiffing the customer! They have a webpage! Double BAM! Gordon is correct... I should have checked their homepage first. Let's hope it all gets resolved.

If you paid by credit card, you can always have your bank issue a chargeback. If I don't hear back soon, I'm going to begin that process. Bummed, as I thought I'd have a 3.1.4 to install on my 1200 for Xmas. :-( Grrr

The story on their facebook page said they were "Waiting for official floppy disc and rom sticky labels" from Hyperion. Webpage: "As soon as the shipment of info needed, gets to us from Hyperon."
What does this even mean? I'm sorry but it's just been too long, and too many excuses with this new (llc) retailer. I'm requesting a refund. Does anyone know of a place that actually has IN STOCK ready to ship 3.1.4? |

I just want to say I've ordered a few times from Amiga on the Lake, and they've always filled the order. If they are waiting for product from Hyperion to arrive, and Hyperion delayed the shipment for whatever reason, there's not much they can do until it arrives.

Were you able to use your serial number to get a download from Hyperion?

I just bought all (5) versions online last night and completed download from Hyperion's web site already. I didn't know they were back up again?

I had an order in for two physical sets for the A1200. Received a shipment notice the other day. In the meantime I had contacted them about it, and got a very courteous reply back from them. I hadn't ordered anything there before, but they seem to have great customer service. They weren't hiding anything, just being honest about where they were and trying to do the best with what they could do.

Got my version for the A1200 today. It came with instructions, ROMs, and 6 floppies (Workbench, Install, Locale, Fonts, Storage, and Extras.)
I thought i would also get a "Modules" disc. Are the ROMs considered to be the Modules disk? I want to use the new intuition.library for partly-off-screen windows. I hope it's not on the Modules disc. I can't install it right now as my A1200 needs power connector repairs. |

I've ordered from AOTL only once, but got my order in a timely manner. Since I'm in the US, I wanted to order from a US dealer and there aren't many of those anymore! I Plan to order a few other things in the near future. My experience has been positive.
