Hello everyone!
Hi, I have been a lurker here for some time so I thought I should introduce myself.
I am a 47 year old male from Sweden. I got my first Amiga 500 in 1989 and I still have it its only missing its internal drive, I “borrowed that back in the days for my Amiga 1200 when the internal drive went bad” I have recently ordered a Checkmate A1500 for my A1200, and I am planning to by an “Apollo ICEDRAKE” when that comes out. I have always loved my Amiga and was missing it under some years when they were sitting on a shelf, I have recapped the A1200. My A1200 has a Blizzard 1230 III bought back in the 90s with 8MB RAM, and I have an ScanPlus AGA. |

It is not so far, I was in Sweden every summer all my years growing up
Loved it everytime Now i look forward to soon take my kids on the same holiday

Sounds like you're planning on a nice retro but modern hybrid setup with the Checkmate + 1200 + Vampire combo. Would be interesting to see a youtube vid of the setup process. Hint ;-) |
