Saving 8-color palettes in KS/WB 1.3

I'm using a command/util called DEPTH to give me 8 colors (depth 3) in workbench screen. Now I need a way to adjust the palette *AND SAVE IT*, but I can't find anything for that. Or is there maybe some command/util which would work like COLOR # R G B which would assign RGB values to color number #?

I need this to work from a floppy with minimal file size and quick loading, so something small, quick and simple is needed.
