Amiga Software Synth?
Are there any software synths that will run on an expanded Amiga 500?
Like the one in Aegis Sonix for example. Thanks. |

There's that Amiga 303 thing,. Used to run well in my A600. The new version, 303Tracker, should be better.
I would use MusicLIne's synthesis engine. It's great. Though you will need 3.0+ to run (I used to softkick my 600 into 3.0 to use AHX and MLine) and you will barely get away with two channels of synthesis, it really works with a minimum of an 020 for the whole 4 channels. Octamed used to have its synth engine but it was pure cack. And for that C64ish sound nothing beats AHX's synthesis. |
