HuffYuv Codec with ATI Radeon 9600 XT Ultimate

Hello,

I want to capture Amiga Videos using WinUAE 0.9.91 and the Huffyuv codec.
But the codec is not shown in the dropdown list.

I own a "Radeon 9600 XT Ultimate" GFX card; this card doesn't seem to support any 24bit display modes (really? or is something wrong with my card?). Is this the reason?

The newest Catalyst driver and DirectX9.0 are installed.

Does anybody have a solution for this situation?

I want to make some DVD movieclips, so DivX is not the right choice for me.

try best divx possible (with very low compression and high bitrate) then convert to mpg

FYI, the drivers for the ATi graphics card only display a 16 or 32-bit display mode. Just remember that 32-bit is a 24-bit, True-Color display mode with the extra Alpha channel bit enabled

I don't have any more info on helping you out here however is there a 32-bit option ?!?

I just solved the problem.

In the Huffyuv codec options, you must enable "enable RGBA (RGB with alpha) compression" (which is 32 bits). You can't change this from inside WinUAE (because the codec is not listed), I used VirtualDub and changed the codec option.

Now, Huffyuv is in the dropdown list

Thanks for your replies...
