Heroquest

I just got Heroquest in the mail, and cannot seem to get it to work. I have an Amiga500 with the 501 trapdoor expansion. One thing I should mention, I did buy it from the UK, but it seems to load fine to a certain point. I am new at all this as well.

I put the disk in, it makes sounds, then loads to the copy protection. I do have the manual, so I put in the page number it asks for, it seems to accept it. And then just sits here at The big colorful GREMLIN logo. I have tried pushing keys like Enter and Space, but it just doesn't want to go any further.

Is this disk possibly broken? Are there any troubleshooting steps I can do?

Hi,
Did you try just to click the mouse button ?

I'm not familiar with this game but does it use a Joystick? Maybe it's waiting for the fire button to be pressed or as Cedric said, the mouse button.

EDIT: Just tried the cracked adf version on WinUAE and the Gremlin logo goes away without pressing anything?

Yes, I have tried clicking the left and right mouse. I have also run it a few times emulated in my Amiga Forever emulator.
