help me executing an whdload-installed game without whdload

Hello again, folks

This install here

http://www.whdownload.com/games/Upda..._v1.1_CD32.zip

includes a file called cannon_game (it's in the data folder) wich is a modified executable for cannon fodder cd32. I'd like to try it outside whdload, but amigaOS refuses to run it because it doesn't recognize it as an executable file.
Does anybody know why? I'm sure it must be something silly, like a bad header or something.. this file should be runable outside WHDLOAD.

Just because you see the files it doesn't mean they're in an AmigaOS conform format.
You won't be able to run this pack without WHDLoad.

It is not an executable file thus you can't run it from shell. It needs to be loaded to a specific address in memory (which is what the slave does).

And why don't you use WHDLoad ?

Cannon Fodder needs a lot more than 1.5MB of RAM for preload, and the Minimig only has 1.5MB left after loading the kickstart. So... I can use Whdload version, but that's os-swap-land (music ruined in game load)

@Zetr0: your game launcher seems impresive, but... how could that help me deal with the fact that Whdload-installed Cannon Fodder has a lot of os-swap with just 1.5MB of RAM?
