Superbyte Festival and Back in Time Live - Manchester, UK, September 2013

Hey guys,

Back to back events for computer-music fans are going to be held in the second weekend of September in Manchester, UK!

First off there's Superbyte Festival, which is the 13th and 14th of September. Added to all the fantastic music lineup (which includes performances by some Amiga heads like me and TDK) there's workshops and game tournaments to get you going. Highly recommended. I'll be playing my Amiga DJ set so if you liked those videos and mixes I uploaded, you should come on over to see it live. I'll be mixing what I consider the best of Amiga-made dance music from today and yesterday, as well as my own Amiga tunes and remixes and whatnot.

Then on the Sunday 15th of September, Back in Time live returns, with performances by the legendary Jeroen Tel and 8bitweapon. They also are having a charity auction and other nice shops for you to buy stuff. More details here:

Come say hi if you drop by!

Does anyone know why 8GB was stopped 20 minutes into his set? I had waited all the way through Anamaguchi just to hear some Amiga goodness when 20 mins in he unplugged his Amiga so someone could stick a Gameboy into the amp again . Without knowing if and when he'd be back on I had to just leave. Huge dissapoint!

Huge huge thanks to whoever provided the A1200 stacked with WHDload games on the Saturday. My Brother and I spent 9 hours getting really drunk playing Persian Gulf Inferno and Cannon Fodder. It was amazing to see so many classic machines in one place open to public use.

Hey John, I am so sorry about that. Believe me I was as disappointed as you were, if not more, about having to cut the set short. The festival was pretty amazing and it's a shame the only let down of it all, for me, was my own set

I'll send you now a PM to discuss further, but let me thank you wholeheartedly about your support being there and waiting for my set.

Akira, PM sent. Sorry didn't realise you were also 8GB.

There'll be other times mate to hear you play and I'll try to escape South Yorkshire and come have a dance then
