Coagulus WIPs for 2021

Hi all

Still trying to fix Wormy and maybe some fixes for others. But Coagulus Software have a few Amiga games on the go. Thought it was time to show them a little. No sound on the video but there will be music and SFX of course.

So here are some shaky cam vids...

Chases of Death

Swapped Arts (AGA)

JetHuntERS (JetHunt II)

I am enjoying the snake game very much (and its devilish level design)!

Looking forward to your upcoming games, mate, especially swapped arts looks very promising! You are impressively productive, juggling all these projects! Cheers!

Great!
A lot of meat on fire ... What aroused me the most interest is SWAPPED ARTS, perhaps because there are already several shooter in progress ... Keep it up!

Glad you're liking Wormy. Productivity has got better thanks to lockdown. I don't think JetHunt II will take 27 years unlike the first one! Juggling is working as if I get stuck I move to another and by that time I've worked the first issue out!

Only slight issue I'm having with Swapped Arts is you can only get about 10-15 pics on a floppy. Need to find a way of crunching them otherwise it might be lots of disks or HD only.

Jethunters II has a bit of Sidearms vibe. You're WIPs are much more impressive than mine - I have a working Dragonfire though but not terribly happy with it.

Think Zybex and you'd be in the right direction. Although Zybex is pretty Sidearms-y!

Get on it, I'm loving that so many people are working on Amiga stuff.

I've actually got quite a few more WIPs that are on hold at the mo but those above are the ones I'm most likely to finish this year! And knowing me there'll probably be a few random curveball releases along the way...

I'm never 100% happy with my stuff. But I let go in the end otherwise I'd never get anything out.

Great you are working on new games. JetHunters seams to me to have the best potential.

Haha, good old Death Chase - I remember it from Spectrum, a lot of fun with it.

If you give chance to the astronaut to face backwards you can have it very Section Z-ish

It'll be as and when I think they're finished. JetHuntERS is possibly closest but there's maps to make and other gameplay elements (weapons, more waves, bosses). But Chases of Death is small and Swapped Arts is fairly simple. So I couldn't even say which one will be of first!

Quick I update. JetHuntERS is progressing the quickest. All 16 of the level maps are drawn and 11 of the music's for each level.

All weapons are coded but they need tweaking for power as when on full power in 2 players enemies don't even make it onto the screen!

I still have a small intro and outro to do along with high score entry. And about 20 more enemy waves and bosses.

But it's getting there...

It does on A1200 (at least in WinUAE) with fast RAM. I'm hoping it'll run good on lower specs too.
