Wanted: 5.25" Clear Plastic Disk Cases
Anyone know where to get in the UK those large clear plastic cases that some Amiga games came in?
I've found one source here: http://www.binaryzone.org/retrostore...roducts_id=514 but at £7.99 for 5 cases and about the same for shipping they don't appear to be good value I've just been looking through some old games I'm wanting to sell and quite a few of the cases are cracked or the plastic pip on the end has broken so the case lid keeps coming off so need some new ones to replace them. |

I just recycled a bunch of these, since I moved all the discs and manuals into their own boxes to compact things.
Mostly these were Anco titles and the like, all the Emerald Mine titles came in these cases, mine were both broken and not so clean so I recycled them to a local plastics recycler I don't have anymore nor would my pricing be very good as I would have to ship them from the states.... |

Hence I need a UK source/seller
They wasn't the most solid of cases were they, drop them a few times and the part that clips into the main body snaps off Thanks for replying though, and hope you had a Merry Christmas |

Same here, most of mine kept breaking due to mishandling of course This is why I moved my diskettes into boxes that are covered and the manauls to similar, sealed boxes. Why thanks, I had a great dinner and purchased some cheap games off of Steam too |

Well I caved in and bought 15 of those cases from BinaryZone, couldn't find anywhere else that stocked them
Looks like these will arrive sometime in the new year though! At least I'll be able to put my games in nice shiny new cases. |

Nice one, BarryB!
They don't appear to be much overpriced compared to what I remember paying for mine at computer fairs. BTW, look after them this time! |

Don't you mean "double cassette tape crystal cases without pegs" btw?
It's extremely doubtful they had any relation to 5.25, inches or centimeters. |

Well BinaryZone calls them Clear 5.25" Replacement Disk Cases
Whatever you want to call them I've got some on order, and I'll try to be more careful with them! |
